
Barrister Shyikh Mahdi is a Bangladeshi lawyer specializing in international crimes, human rights, and humanitarian law. Currently serving as a Prosecutor at the International Crimes Tribunal, Bangladesh (ICT-BD), he has built a diverse career spanning criminal, corporate, and constitutional law. He holds law degrees from the University of Dhaka and Queen Mary University of London, along with professional training from BPP University in the UK.
Mahdi is the Director of Legal Affairs at Socchar – Torture Watchdog Bangladesh, where he actively advocates against human rights violations. He is also an adjunct faculty member at Daffodil International University and co-founder of the Denning Law Institute, fostering legal professional development.
